As a result, the matting or sanding pattern is very uniform. Only a minimal layer of paint is removed. Follow-up work with a fine abrasive paste quickly creates a glossy surface. 3M Trizact sanding discs are excellent for removing orange peel and overspray.
Other applications are in the finishing area for removing dust inclusions and intermediate sanding after painting. Sanding discs are used before polishing to create a finely sanded surface.
