…. hologram formation are the distinctive characteristics of this type of machine. They excel at correcting defects in the topcoat, such as fine scratches, and are well-suited for finishing work, including the application of high-gloss and anti-hologram polishes.

In the head of the polishing machine, a gearing mechanism forces the polishing pad into an eccentric motion. The abrasive particles in the polish rotate both around their own axis and around an axis that is shifted from their own rotational axis by a certain amount (the stroke). The typical stroke ranges from 3 to 8 mm, and in exceptional cases, it can go up to 21 mm for increased abrasive power.

Due to the stroke and the resulting maximization of consistent performance, the eccentric polisher offers distinct advantages over a rotary polisher in terms of preventing unwanted hologram formation when providing the finishing touch.
