The new Koch Chemie Headlight Polish Set is a professional solution for yellowed or matte acrylic glass headlights.
Two perfectly matching polishes and pads restore original clarity. Innovative Headlight Polish 1 machine polish removes scratches and sandmarks from P1000 grit and Headlight Polish 2 creates clarity and a high-gloss finish. The Carnauba waxes contained in Headlight Polish 2 ensure that the headlights are sealed and protected against yellowing for up to 6 months.
Special attention for the self-developed Thermo-Pad which enables excellent temperature control due to its thermochromic foam - when the color changes, the temperature begins to rise above 40-45 degrees and the acrylic glass surface is endangered.
One Headlight Polish Set is sufficient for processing 50 headlights.

- Before starting, clean the headlight and then tape off the edges to the hood, fender, grille, and bumper
- Depending on the weathering, work on the headlight surface with the sanding paper using a hand block or an orbital polishing machine. For heavily yellowed headlights, start with the 1,000 grit sanding paper (coarse grit). Then repeat this step with the 2,000 grit (medium grit) and 4,000 grit (fine grit) sanding papers until an evenly sanded surface is achieved. If the headlights are only slightly dull, sanding can be skipped
- Remove the sanding marks with the Headlight Polish 1 and the Heavy Cut Pad or the Lambskin Pad. We recommend using a rotary polishing machine and working the sanding polish at medium speed and medium pressure in a cross-pattern
- Polish the surface to a high gloss with the Headlight Polish 2 and the Thermo Pad. We recommend using a rotary polishing machine and working the high-gloss polish at medium speed and medium pressure in a cross-pattern. Please note the legal regulations for headlight processing in your country before use
