The main advantage of the RUPES Mille over previous (free-running) eccentric polishers from the Bigfoot series is its forced rotation: the eccentric movement in the Mille is achieved through a newly developed planetary gearbox, resulting in a different pad trajectory that now allows for highly abrasive work. The drawback of free-running eccentrics, which previously provided unsatisfactory abrasiveness in correcting severe defects, is minimized with the new Mille eccentric, effectively bridging the performance gap between rotary and eccentric polishers.
The new machine type is further enhanced with several other interesting features, such as clockwise rotation, an extra-long cable (9m), and a newly developed throttle trigger.
